# Steps:
01 - Slice the bagel horizontally into two halves.
02 - Toast both halves in a toaster or under the broiler until golden and crisp, about 2 to 3 minutes.
03 - Generously spread cream cheese over each warm bagel half.
04 - Top with desired optional ingredients such as cucumber, tomato, smoked salmon, dill, capers, or red onion.
